Shredded Green Beans

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 11 ounces green beans
  • 3 tablespoons sliced black olives, drained
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons Italian herb seasoning
  • 3/4 chopped tomato
  • 11 ounces corn nibblets


Directions

  • Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium high heat;
  • Add garlic, beans, olives, seasoning, and tomato;
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste;
  • Cover and simmer 5 minutes;
  • Stir in corn;
  • Simmer 5 minutes (green beans will be tender).
