Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 8 packets Splenda
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons chocolate extract
- 1 tablespoon ginger
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°;
- Boil water enough to fill half a roasting pan;
- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients;
- Mix on Medium speed until smooth;
- Pour into a shallow quart baking or casserole dish;
- Pour boiling water into the roasting pan;
- Place baking dish inside the roasting pan so that water covers approximately half the dish;
- Bake for 35 minutes until a fork inserted into the middle comes out clean;
- Remove dish from pan and set on stove to cool to room temperature;
- Spray cooking spray on a piece of plastic wrap and lay directly on top of the flan;
- Refrigerate for approximately 2 hours.
